Just the news. Sega is working on a new animated series based on the universe of Sonic.

The writer himself has revealed it is working on the series, Dave Polsky. She has previously worked on shows like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, South Park, Rugrats, in western adaptation Pokémon, or in film, with the script for Scary Movie 2, to give some examples.

Dave Polsky recently went as a guest to a My Little Pony convention, called Trotcon. In his description in the event program mentions that he has worked in several of the aforementioned animated series, including this new series, called Sonic Boom.

Also, at the event asked about the series, where Dave Polsky confirmed that indeed it is a new series of Sonic in which you are working, you will have a more comedic tone, the style of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, who will try to mimic the success of the series with a reboot of the hedgehog animated presence, and will be starring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy.
